We had the pleasure of speaking with a member of the team behind the film, and learned more about Encanto’s production, story and characters.
Our interviewee, who wishes to remain anonymous, told us about the fascination that drove him to participate in Encanto. "When we first heard the idea for the film, we were immediately excited by the idea of telling a story that is so weightless, hopeful and optimistic" he said. "We knew we could create a wonderful world that would delight the audience."
We also asked our interviewee about the making of the film. "It is a long and intense process he explained. "It takes several years from the first ideas and sketches to the finished animation. Being a part of the team was an incredible experience and it was great to see the characters and their stories develop."
